After nearly 20 years of dedication to the breed, we are retiring our breeding program here at SoCalPresa. As part of this transition, we are seeking the perfect forever home for our girl, Bruja. Raised inside our home since day one, Bruja has lived as a member of our family, and we are committed to ensuring her next chapter is with someone who appreciates her unique excellence.
Overview & Temperament:
Bruja is 115 lbs of pure loyalty and a remarkable specimen of the Presa Canario breed. She embodies the quintessence of the breed’s noble character, combining a fierce protective instinct with a deeply affectionate nature. A daughter of Luzifer and Negra — two of the most impressive Presas we have ever produced — she carries a legacy of power, intelligence, and unwavering vigilance.
Home Life & Training:
Bruja is a one-family dog with serious guardian instincts. She is house trained, crate trained, and possesses an intuitive bond with her people. Raised in-home since birth, she is profoundly integrated into family life. However, her devotion is exclusive: Bruja is NOT good with other dogs or cats. She thrives as the only pet in the home. This is a non-negotiable requirement for her safety and happiness.
The Ideal Handler:
We are seeking a specific environment for Bruja. The ideal candidate:
- Has direct experience with large guardian breeds
- Maintains a home with no other pets
- Deeply understands the Presa Canario temperament
- Provides the structure, love, and leadership she respects
Health & Rehoming:
Bruja exemplifies the robustness and vitality of the SoCalPresa line. She is spayed, healthy, and up to date on her care. We are asking a $500 rehoming fee to ensure she goes to a committed home. While our puppies typically command $5,000–$10,000, this placement is strictly about finding her the right human.
Bruja is currently located with us near Houston, Texas. I will personally introduce her to her new family.
